WHERE DO WE LIVE?
Philadelphia
Philadelphia is a bustling yet manageable city to live in. Many residents choose to live in Center City because Magee Hospital and TJUH are within walking distance. However, other districts like Old City, Graduate Hospital, Bella Vista, Northern Liberties, Fishtown, East Falls, and Manayunk, each have their unique charm and personality. Some of our residents even venture out into the surrounding suburbs - the options are endless!
Wilmington
At just 35 min south of Philadelphia, Wilmington offers residents affordable options for housing that are a little farther away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Many pediatric residents will call Wilmington home during residency and many PPMR residents choose to live here during intern year. There are many, many options for apartments or homes within a 10min drive!
Wilmington remains just a short 25min drive to the Philadelphia airport and does have an Amtrak station, making travel easily accessable during residency. There are also travel destinations within driving distance, like the DE beaches, the Jersey shore, and multiple state and national parks.
